All day lockers are available to hire from the locker hire stand located in the Atrium out the front of the Duncan gallery. Hours of hire are from 9am-9.30pm.

Mobility Scooters, wheelchairs and prams are available to hire from the Show Mobility Stand located just inside the Kidman Gate near the Ferris Wheel.

All scooters, wheelchairs and prams must be collected and returned to this location on the day of hire.

Hours of hire are from 9am-9.30pm.

The cost of hire of all scooters is $110 per day.

The cost of hire for a single pram is $30 per day.

The cost of hire for a double pram is $50 per day.

The cost of hire of all wheelchairs is $50 per day.

There are two scooter options available; ‘Small’ caters for a single adult, up to 110kg weight. ‘Medium’ caters for a single adult, up to 150kg weight. 

There are two wheelchair options available; ‘standard’ caters for standard adults, while ‘bariatric’ caters for customers requiring a physically larger wheelchair.

Reservation online is highly recommended to avoid disappointment, however walk-up hires on the day are possible if there is equipment available.

All equipment bookings will require your driver’s licence or photo identification to be shown on the day, and this will be photocopied for our records. If the hirer does not have this, one will need to be provided by a spouse, family member, carer or another person in the party. There are no exceptions to this.

To reserve a scooter, wheelchair or pram please see the form at the bottom of this page and click on the correct event and date you require. Available items will be shown, and after clicking on the item, proceed through the payment process with your credit card.

You are required during the payment process to supply us with a valid email address. If you have successfully booked a scooter, you will be promptly sent a confirmation email which is sufficient to secure your reservation. You can supply this to us on the day, however once you have received your confirmation email, simply giving us the name used to hire the equipment is sufficient on the day.

Please note that if you require a scooter, wheelchair or pram for more than one day, they must be booked separately via the website (select the first day you are coming, pay for this with your credit card, and then start over again for the next day you are coming). You cannot book multiple days in the same order.

Please note that the hirer accepts all risk in the use of the mobility scooter, and Show Mobility reserves the right to hire mobility scooters at their own discretion based upon the hirers ability to operate the equipment.
